Issuer branding and certificates

Organization owners, admins, and issuers can edit the issuer profile’s Credential brand section. Choose a primary color, an accent color, and one of the classic, minimal, or modern certificate styles. The page includes a small preview before saving.

Vitni checks that the primary color has at least 4.5:1 contrast against white. This keeps small text and primary buttons readable. The accent color is used for decorative details.

Provide a public HTTPS URL to a PNG or SVG image. Vitni displays the image on the issuer page and printable certificate and publishes the URL in the Open Badges issuer profile’s image property. The image remains hosted at the address you provide; Vitni does not upload or proxy it yet. Anyone who opens a page showing the logo may make a request to that host.

Brand settings control public presentation only. They do not change the organization’s stable issuer identifier, signing keys, or credential validity. Existing signed credentials remain verifiable. The issuer name remains part of the signed credential snapshot; current branding is read from the issuer’s public profile.
